The Wayfarers are a local group of walking enthusiasts. They meet very Saturday and anyone can join them. Once a month there is an advertised guided walk. The group was responsible for the fund raising and creation of the Family Wheelchair Walk allowing disabled access to the riverside as part of a circular walk round Wolsingham. It also regularly carries out maintenance work and has way marked all walks.

The bowling green is situated in the Recreation Ground at the west end of the village. The green is open every afternoon at 2.00pm and every evening except Saturday at 6.00pm. The Club enters teams for Ladies, Men and Veterans in local leagues and runs a range of club competitions. Membership subscription for 2004 will be £27; non members can play during a two hour session for a green fee of £2.00, which includes the hire of a set of woods and overshoes. Visitors are welcome.

We are a group of skateboarders that live in Wolsingham. We skate any where in Wolsingham and go down to Crook and travel to Durham, Bishop, Redcar, Newcastle and South Sheilds. Anyone can join if they can skate and there is no age limit. Entry fee is £10 and must be paided in cash to Matt. The team curently includes Matt Brown(Frog), Sam Ferguson and Ryan Simons. We are curently producing a DVD which will be bought from peggotty's bakery in the New year for £10.
