Bradley Hall, owned and run by Christopher and Jill Stephenson, is situated two miles down the dale from Wolsingham. First recorded in 1189, Bradley Hall is a scheduled ancient monument with remains of a moat, mediaeval fireplaces, arches and doorways next to the Georgian farmhouse which is lived in today. Three guest rooms are available, all en suite, as well as a spacious guest's sitting room. Our visitors can enjoy the historic surroundings with all the comforts of modern life.
Bed & Breakfast, Self Catering and conference facilties.We are 1 1/2 miles NE of Wolsingham overlooking the picturesque Wear Valley, located for the numerous scenic and historical sites of Northumbria. Less than half an hours drive from Raby Castle, Bowes Museum, High Force, Killhope Wheel, Beamish Open Air Museum, Durham City and Barnard Castle. We are within easy driving distance for Hadrians Roman Wall, Hexham, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Holy Island, Keilder Water and Forest, Alston and the Lake District.
A warm welcome awaits you on our beef and sheep farm surrounded by beautiful open countryside with its magnificent views of Weardale – an area of outstanding natural beauty. Rich in wild life the farm is at the centre of a network of local footpaths. The area has much to offer visitors, ranging from the high wild fells of Weardale and Teesdale, to pretty villages, market towns and the University City of Durham, with its Cathedral, Castle and medieval streets. Accommodation comprises two en-suite family rooms, both with stunning views, tea / coffee making facilities, TV, hair dryer, radio alarm and central heating. Sorry no pets and no smoking indoors. Full English breakfast is served with homemade bread, our own free-range eggs and other local produce. Bed and Breakfast from £25 per person per night, reduced rates for children under 10 years old sharing.
