Alan Ainslie Wilson's Photo Collection
In early 2008, Mrs Marigold Wilson presented a large collection of her late husband's photographs of the Town of Wolsingham to Wolsingham Parish Council.

Alan Ainslie Wilson was a professional photographer who lived in the Old Station House and also collected old photographs from the early 20th Century, often of everyday life in the town, and sepia prints of the Edwardian period and beyond.  Late 20th Century photographs are also included

Alan was twice elected to the Wolsingham Parish Council in 1976 and 1991. He was a witty member of the Council with a fine knowledge of the community of Wolsingham. This album is dedicated to Alan's memory.

The photographs in this album are copyright to the Wilson family.

The originals of the photographs are available to view in the Town Hall upon application to the Parish Clerk during normal opening hours.
