| In early 2008, Mrs
Marigold Wilson presented a large collection of her late husband's
photographs of the Town of Wolsingham to Wolsingham Parish Council.
Alan Ainslie Wilson was a
professional photographer who lived in the Old Station House and also
collected old photographs from the early 20th Century, often of everyday
life in the town, and sepia prints of the Edwardian period and beyond.
Late 20th Century photographs are also included
Alan was twice elected to the
Wolsingham Parish Council in 1976 and 1991. He was a witty member of the
Council with a fine knowledge of the community of Wolsingham. This album
is dedicated to Alan's memory.
